FAQ
Q - How do I set up my zoom account for the best lesson possible?
A - Start off by making sure your zoom is updated to the newest version. To do this go on to do this either click onto your account or click zoom.us
Next go on to your settings, go to audio and select original sound for musicians. This stops zoom from cutting your sound off and the person on the other side can hear your crystal clear! Next tick: high fidelity music mode and echo cancellation.

Now when you go onto zoom you will have "original sound for musicians: OFF" at the top of your screen, click it so it says "original sound for musicians: ON". You will manually have to turn this on every time you use zoom.

IMPORTANT - If you are using a phone, iPad, tablet for your lesson, you will not be able to use original sound and the sound quality will be very poor. So if possible please try to always use a laptop/computer.
Finally, if you have weak internet connection your lesson may cut out and you will lose valuable lesson time.
If you know your WiFi connection is slow, connect an Ethernet cable from your WiFi box to your laptop and this will mean you get the best internet connection possible!
Q - What can I expect from my first lesson with Rebecca?
A - Book in for "First Lesson: Consultation & Lesson" to get your lesson personalised for your needs. Rebecca will start off by having a chat with you so she can get to know you, your voice, any issues you may be having and what you are looking to get out of the lessons ie prepping for drama school/professional auditions, simply improving technique/exploring a new style etc. This is so Rebecca can make sure that your lesson is completely personalised to YOU.

Rebecca will then lead you through a warmup/body release work.
If you have a song that you would like to work on please bring that with you. If not, do not feel you need to prepare anything in advance. Lessons are for you so whatever you want to work on: whether that's through exercises or songs then that is what Rebecca will focus on.

Due to zoom lag Rebecca won't be able to fully accompany you so please have a separate device for instrumentals ready to use if you are working on a song.

Q - How do I reschedule my lesson?
A - All you need to do is register an account and once you're logged in, you will see your bookings via your wallet. There you will be able to modify the date and time of your lesson up until 24 hours before.
If due to unforeseen circumstances you need to reschedule your lesson on the day of your lesson, please email me at info@rlvocals.com and I will try my best to accommodate.

Any cancellations on the day of your lesson will be non refundable.

Q - Does Rebecca only work with experienced and confident singers?

Agents and how to write to them
Picking the right headshot photographer for you
Selecting headshots
What to expect in the audition room
Picking appropriate audition songs
How to cut sheet music
etc
